In magnetic grids magnetic rods are placed in stainless steel housing. Magnetic grids are used for filtering small amounts of micron ferromagnetic particles and oxides from granulate and dry, free-falling powders in free-fall transport pipes.
This type of magnetic grid is not suitable for poorly flowing sticky/fatty powders that can cause blockages.
Cleaning: manual by taking entire magnetic unit out of the product channel. After that you can pull the magnetic bars out of pipes and in this way ferromagnetic particles and oxides fall off the pipes.
