Magnetic Drum/Separator MB-S AL for Aluminium

The MB-S Al Magnetic Drum Separator is an advanced solution, equipped with three high-intensity magnetic drums, crafted to ensure the effective extraction of ferromagnetic particles from aluminum swarf.
This system has been custom-engineered for heavy-duty conditions and features a special labyrinth seal to protect the magnetic core from dust and temperatures up to 300 °C.

Utilizing high-temperature Samarium Cobalt magnets (Sm2Co17 32H/350 °C, 10.500 Gauss), the first drum focuses on removing ferromagnetic particles from the aluminum swarf, while the subsequent drums work to minimize the presence of aluminum waste in the discharged material. Positioned strategically at the exit of the aluminum slag dryer, this separator is pivotal in enhancing the purity of the final product by ensuring that discharged materials contain the least amount of aluminum swarf possible.
