Magnetic grids are capable of removing very small ferromagnetic particles from dusty or granulated materials. They are usually embedded into vertical pipes or located in places where the material is in free fall. Capacity of magnetic grids can vary and it is adapted to the type of the material and transport demands.
Magnetic grids can be cleaned manually or automatically with a pneumatic or hydraulic system. During cleaning the magnetic elements are pulled out of their protective pipes, making the ferromagnetic particles fall into a prepared container.
