Magnets offer the possibility of separating ferromagnetic impurities from the raw materials in a variety of situations.
In heavy industry they are mostly useful for separating ferromagnetic impurities in conveyor systems with a goal of protecting the following technological process or for enriching ferromagnetic ores.
Cleaning magnets are intended for separating various ferromagnetic metals that appear in raw materials due to transport, grinding or other processing. Materials that require the removal of metallic impurities are present in many fields in industry, such as food processing, pharmacy, processing of plastics, etc.
These magnets can have very different designs. Some of the most frequently used are:
- magnetic bars, plates,
- magnetic grids,
- magnetic filters,
- electromagnetic separators.
All of the above magnets use very powerful electro or permanent magnets that combined with various designs ensure maximum ferromagnetic impurities separation. The usage of magnets protects the production lines and packing equipment, and ensures cleaner products which lead to improved position on the market.
